Thorpes & Conservation

The Thorpes Estate is a conservation area with an Article 4 designation, full details of which can be found on the Lewisham Council website, and a map of the area can be downloaded here.

Listed below are some of the works to all properties on the estate that require planning permission before any work is undertaken:

Altering the roof and roof covering;

installing roof windows

Erecting, altering or removing a chimney

a gate, wall, fence or other means of enclosure

Planning a vehicle crossover

------------------------------------------------------------

Installing a satellite dish to the front

Painting, rendering or cladding the exterior

in any way

Any work on trees – pollarding or cutting down.
